When it comes to photographing children, I believe in keeping things simple and true to them. Instead of stiff poses, I use gentle prompts and let them play, explore, and be themselves. That’s where the magic happens. For newborns, I take a similar approach with cozy in-home sessions that focus on real moments with your family, not overly posed setups. My goal is to capture your child just as they are in this season you never want to forget.

What does the booking process look like?
Start by sending me a message through the Contact page with the type of session you’re interested in and any details you’d like to share. I’ll then send you my session guide, which includes tips on what to wear, location ideas, and a breakdown of the process. If everything feels like a good fit, we’ll lock in your date and location. After that, you’ll receive an invoice for your deposit, along with the contract and a short questionnaire to help me prepare for your session.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To reserve your session date, a $70 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward your total session fee.
What is the expected timeframe for receiving my photos?
Your final gallery will be delivered within three weeks of your session date. I always aim to get your photos back to you as soon as possible, and in many cases, you’ll receive them even earlier. I take great care in editing each image to make sure everything looks just right, so the turnaround time ensures quality while still being timely.
Do you do traditional newborn photos?
I specialize in lifestyle newborn photography and do not offer traditional posed newborn sessions. Instead of using props, backdrops, or posed positions, I focus on capturing natural moments with your baby and family in your home. These sessions are typically held in the nursery or other meaningful spaces and include photos with parents and siblings, along with a few simple images of your baby on their own.
Are you willing to travel?
Yes, I’m happy to travel for photography sessions! Whether it’s a scenic location or a special venue, I’m excited to capture your moments wherever you are. Please note that I charge a travel fee of 72¢ per mile for any location more than 30 miles outside the New Richland area. For example, if your location is 40 miles away, the travel fee would be $14.40 round trip.

Do you offer "Fresh 48" sessions?
Yes! I do offer Fresh 48 sessions, though I haven’t had the opportunity to photograph one just yet. If you’re interested, please reach out for more details and we can discuss how to make it happen.
